dc.description.abstractA new neo-clerodane diterpenoid, barbatellarine F (1), was isolated from the CHCl3-soluble fraction of the aerial part of Scutellaria barbata. The chemical structure of the new compound was elucidated by detailed analysis of NMR and MS data. Compound 1 was a C-13 epimer of the previously reported compound barbatellarine E, which was confirmed by NOESY data as well as optical rotation.-
