Abstract
This paper presents a distance recognition-based light emitting diode (LED) control system. Conventional systems cannot consider a distance between LED and a target object, thereby highly consuming the power consumption. However, the proposed system can intelligently control the LED intensity using the ultrasound device and microprocessor. For this, the proposed system detects a target object and calculates the distance between the object and LED. Then, it computes the LED intensity based on the pre-defined database, and controls the LED intensity optimally. Experimental results show that the proposed system could adaptively control the power consumption while constantly preserving the LED intensit. ? Research India Publications.
