Abstract
In this paper, we propose self-descriptive system identification for single image server based parallel computer architecture. In this proposal, we define a new type of resource provisioning architecture, and this new infrastructure consists of fix-numbered Virtual Machines (VMs) and fixnumbered physical hosts. In this architecture, we also introduce the concept of a Service Model on it. In this model, depending on different application characteristics, when clients send a request about resources to system service providers, our model selects the proper number of physical resources based on their VM requirements of clients. The model can also select the proper number of virtual resources for client system requests based on the physical resource constraints of system service providers. Therefore, our model suggests that it can distribute VM requests with high performance level, on various physical hosts, which can be used as important resource provisioning criteria for both service providers and clients. ? 2014 International Information Institute.
